Beskrivning
The plant grows well in a pot to about 70 cm in height and is a great producer of real star shaped pods. The pods are about 2.5 cm long and 3 cm wide starting off green and ending up a fiery red, once they are fully mature.
A great looking chilli with thick walls and not too hot, so you can easily take a bit of this very crunchy and juicy pepper.
Would be excellent in any dish and the heat won’t overpower the flavour of the food.
Flavour wise: First you get a pea flavour and then you’ll get a hint of a fresh apple. A really delicious chilli and we can only recommend it.
The Star of Turkey is a very uncommon chilli pepper with a mild tomato like aroma. It’s the only C. Chinense type chilli that is actually shaped like a star although the shape is a little different from plant to plant. Its very fleshy pod is sweet and super crunchy, almost like an apple! The heat builds up to a similar level of the Habanero. This is a rare chilli and well worth growing.
